Foundry Services

Expert Foundry Services

Alloys come in all shapes and sizes, and you can change their appearance by simply melting them into a liquid that will be added to a mold and wait for it to cool down. It sounds like a simple process, but there are hundreds of years of history behind it.

Our experts have been working from a very young age to perfect their techniques and to offer high-quality foundry services in California. We strive to provide excellent solutions while taking care of our employees by following all the regulations and safety measures.

The foundry industry is a great contributor to recycling scrap aluminum bronze by recasting thousands of tons each year to create whatever you need. We are qualified to produce aluminum bronze or nickel aluminum bronze sand castings of up to 3,500 pounds. Our years of experience allow us to run loose patterns and therefore eliminate the cost to mount and rig each one.

We specialize in pouring a variety of alloys:

All Alloys Poured are Lead Free

At Los Angeles Pumps and Valves, we use no-lead alloys to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, especially for applications involving drinking water. By using materials like no-lead bronze and other certified alloys, we reduce the risk of lead contamination and support public health. It’s a key part of our commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability in all the products we manufacture and distribute.

Main Alloys That We Pour

At Los Angeles Pumps and Valves, we pour alloys from the aluminum bronze family for their excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and durability in demanding applications which includes but not exclusive to.

  • At Los Angeles Pumps and Valves, we pour C95200 aluminum bronze an alloy known for its excellent corrosion resistance, especially in marine and industrial environments. C952 offers high strength, good wear resistance, and is ideal for components like pump and valve parts that face tough operating conditions. It’s a reliable choice for long-lasting performance.

    Element Composition (%)

    Copper (Cu) 87.7%

    Aluminum (Al) 9.0%

    Iron (Fe) 3.3%

    Lead (Pb) 0.0%

  • At Los Angeles Pumps and Valves, we also pour C95300 aluminum bronze. It’s a high-strength alloy with even greater hardness and wear resistance than C952, making it perfect for heavy-duty applications. C953 performs well under high loads and in corrosive environments, which makes it ideal for demanding pump and valve components.

    Element Composition (%)

    Copper (Cu) 89.0%

    Aluminum (Al) 10.0%

    Iron (Fe) 1.0%

    Lead (Pb) 0.0%

  • At Los Angeles Pumps and Valves, we pour C95400 aluminum bronze for its excellent combination of strength, corrosion resistance, and machinability. C954 is commonly used in high-load, high-wear applications like bushings, bearings, and valve components. It’s a dependable alloy that holds up well in both marine and industrial environments.

    Element Composition (%)

    Copper (Cu) 83.2%

    Aluminum (Al) 10.8%

    Iron (Fe) 4.0%

    Lead (Pb) 0.0%

  • At Los Angeles Pumps and Valves, we pour C95500 aluminum bronze for its exceptional strength, wear resistance, and performance under extreme conditions. C955 is a high-strength alloy ideal for demanding applications such as gears, marine hardware, and heavy-duty bushings. Its superior mechanical properties and resistance to corrosion make it a reliable choice for both industrial and marine environments.

    Element Composition (%)

    Copper (Cu) 80.0%

    Aluminum (Al) 11.0%

    Iron (Fe) 4.0%

    Nickel 4.3%

    Lead (Pb) 0.0%

  • At Los Angeles Pumps and Valves, we pour C95800 aluminum bronze, a top choice for highly corrosive environments, especially saltwater and marine applications. C958 offers superior resistance to seawater corrosion, excellent strength, and toughness, making it ideal for critical pump and valve components exposed to harsh conditions.

    Element Composition (%)
